| Job Summary |
Ledcor Alberta Limited is seeking a Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Highway Maintenance Operations in Grande Prairie, Ab. Candidates will perform Preventative Maintenance service, general vehicle repairs and maintain records. Position requires the ability to work independently, diagnose and repair vehicle deficiencies, maintain fleet and shop equipment, knowledge and experience with hydraulic and air brakes, gas and diesel engines, electrical systems, and general welding. | Requirements |
- Must have a valid Class 3 with air brake endorsement driver’s license or ability to obtain a Class 3 within first six months of hire date.
- Journeyman Certification
- Knowledge and experience of the following:
- Hydraulic and air brakes
- Gas and diesel engines
- Electrical systems
- General welding
- A current CVIP certificate is an asset
